In May, Big Boi postponed all of his tour dates due to injuring his leg on stage. On Tuesday, October 1st, the Shoes for Running tour returned to Brooklyn Bowl with Sir Lucious Leftfoot and Killer Mike. There were opening sets by Nyzzy Nyce, Renegade and Real Talk. During Killer Mike's set, El-P came on stage to perform three Run The Jewels songs (“Run The Jewels,” “36” Chain” and “Get It”) with his partner. Killer Mike revealed that the duo are working together again on another album. Despite still recovering from his injury and wearing a leg brace, Big Boi danced and sat in a throne plus brought out special guests Sleepy Brown, Killer Mike and El-P.
