On Friday, December 20th, The Breeders (featuring the original lineup of Kim & Kelley Deal, bassist Josephine Wiggs, drummer Jim MacPherson and violinst Carrie Bradley) played their final show on their 20th anniversary tour celebrating the release of their record Last Splash at Webster Hall in New York City. The concert featured the band playing Last Splash in its entirety, in track order followed by a brief break and playing Pod (also in its entirety and track order). After playing nearly two hours, the night ended with new song by Kim Deal called “Walking With A Killer.” Speedy Ortiz, who joined The Breeders for this leg of their anniversary tour, performed an opening set.
