The Horrors release vinyl-porn box set of Skying remixes

Moody British band The Horrors released a vinyl box set on XL Recordings yesterday that is, frankly, too pretty to turn away from. The set is called Higher and it's a reimagining of their album Skying, with a host of remixes from artists like Peaking Lights, Daniel Avery, Connan Mockasin, Blanck Mass, and Andrew Weatherall. It's a package that comes with four 12″ vinyls, two CDs, and a DVD of videos, and the best part of it all is that it's the nicest thing you'd ever find on your vinyl shelf. The collection has original art by Leif Podhajsky, who has previously done work with Tame Impala, Grimes, and Lykke Li, and most recently the new Mount Kimbie record. Obviously, the music ain't bad either, so you can take a listen to a fantastic remix of “I Can See Through You” by Blanck Mass below.

But mostly just stare and salivate because the thing has already sold out. Here's a shot of the full box in action.
