Listen: P.O.S., “Goodbye”

P.O.S. returns to Rhymesayers with a solo record and tours with his Doomtree collective

For two years P.O.S. has been on the road opening for Atmosphere, hitting the Warped Tour circuit and fronting a second movement in Minneapolis with his Doomtree crew.

If you’re not behind the wheel, the road is a great place to write and P.O.S. knows this. His new record Never Better was written in a moving car; his patented punk urgency fueled by what we can only hope was an eco-friendly vehicle — with a badass burner painted on the hood. Allegedly, the packaging for his new album will be quite extraordinary.

“The packaging for P.O.S’s new album Never Better is a one of a kind four panel transparent plastic Digipak that holds 16 solid and 6 Transparent inserts. The solid inserts have artwork on the front and lyrics/credits on the back. The Transparent inserts have artwork that when placed over the various solid cards, enhance and change the look of the art underneath, hundreds of combinations are possible.”

Personally I am not quite sure what I just read, but it sounds bitching and interactive. If the album art is any indication, this packaging is off to an excellent start

“Goodbye” is the first single from Never Better out February 3 on RSE.
