Harm Wülf, “Welcome Home Our Sister”

Post Author:

Harm Wülf, aka George Hirsch, is from Philly and Chicago, and he’s just released a new track called “Welcome Home Our Sister,” off of his upcoming record, Hijrah. This album will be his second. George is best known for his lyrical and vocal work in Blacklisted and he made his debut as Harm Wülf via Deathwish in 2013. He’s been making music under that moniker ever since.

“Welcome Home Our Sister” is dark. The vocals create an almost whispery and hushed feel to the song. The track is has a heavy guitar line that will surely keep your focus. The piece swells and settles, over and over, creating waves of sound that crash into one another. There are a couple complete stops in the song, like the tune is taking a deep breath before continuing. The track is broody and emotional and one of a kind.
