Mannequin Pussy, one of the best bands in the game these days, played a triumphant and rowdy post-Governors Ball set at Warsaw in Brooklyn this past weekend. The indie punk stalwarts, whose album I Got Heaven landed on our Top 50 Albums of 2024 list, brought high energy and a wave of emotions to an ecstatic and fired-up crowd eager to sing along and move around from start-to-finish. While the set leaned heavily on I Got Heaven, they also served up hard-hitting tracks off their other albums as well, with singer-guitarist Marisa Dabice steering the ship with her rambunctious frontwoman energy.
