Returning to the same stage they had their first show 25 years ago after the release of their debut album, Long Island’s De La Soul performed a sold out show at Irving Plaza on Wednesday, July 16 in New York, NY. Their set featured special guest appearances by Common (“The Bizness”), QTip (“Saturday” and “Buddy”) and Dres of Black Sheep, who did “Flavor of the Month” and “The Choice Is Yours” with the group. There was an opening set by Brooklyn’s Dillon Cooper (who attended Washington Irving High School, just across the street) and a short set by Harlem rapper Billy Ray before De La Soul took the stage.

De La Soul bring the house down with the help of a Chicago rapper & some of the Native Tongues crew.
