Lucha VaVoom returned to NYC for a night of wrestling and burlesque at the Grand Ballroom at Webster Hall on Nov. 10. It’s a clever mix of scrappy violence and swanky sensuality, heavy on the Vaudeville vibes.
Jonathan Toubin’s usual selections played off well in the antique building, providing a bridge between the eras that influenced the show.
