On Friday, September 5, the “Renegades of Rhythm” tour remained at Irving Plaza in New York, NY for a second night. The tour features a vinyl only set from DJs Cut Chemist and Shadow using records pulled from hip hop pioneer’s Afrika Bambaataa’s collection. It was recently announced that Bambaataa’s massive record collection (over 40,000 albums) will be archived by Cornell University. The evening featured an opening set by Edan and Paten Locke.

The DJs responsible for the Product Placement album perform using records owned by Afrika Bambaataa.
