This video is a kaleidoscopic adventure through a crystalline cove. When we say kaleidoscopic, we mean that literally – the effect is used throughout the video, to pleasingly bright, colorful, and non-kitchy effect. A woman swims into a a small rocky island bay. She is wearing a black bikini. Sometimes her body becomes a pattern. She is alone, except for the camera. When she leaves the cove, she swims back, and there are jellyfish and schools of sardines to keep her company, but we don’t know if she is a real figure or just the ghost of a girl that was. Echo Lake provide the dreamy soundtrack. The sparkling pop song does little to solve the mystery of the girl’s whereabouts, but it does allow us to enter her vision aurally and explore the cove right along with her.
