New Jersey’s Pine Barons – comprised of Keith Abrams, Brad Pulley, Collin Smith, Shane Hower, and Alex Beebe – has some great things on the horizon for us. The band announced recently that they their debut full length album will be released in the spring, and today let us in on a big show that they will be playing at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn with The Districts on December 2nd. If you simply can’t wait to see them live until then, they will also be headlining Ortlieb’s Lounge on October 4th in Philadelphia as part of the Project Pabst City Wide Festival.

Oh, but that’s not all. Today, we give you the exclusive first look at the music video for their single “Alliterate Breed”.

Directed by Frank Apollonio, the video is dark, almost too dark to decipher anything. Spinning colors, and a bike ride through the trees. Layers of different shots both confuse and captivate, as we watch a mess being made. Fire, paint, and people who seem to be in a cult are dragging our relentless hero along the sand. What comes to mind – during the entire video – is its psychedelic vibe and its entertaining incorporation of art and movement. It was shot with such clarity that we feel as though we are a part of it.

One thing is for sure. Whoever got to shoot silly string is our new best friend.

Keep up with Pine Barons and all future announcements here.
