Premiere: SORNE, Children of the Black Mountain

This debut is a short film from the group SORNE, led by their namesake, Morgan Sorne. Using handmade instruments and found objects, along with his powerful voice, Sorne tells the story he wrote about a family of five children and how the death of their father changes them. Sorne made all the parts of this powerful short film himself, including the animations and the voices of the children. The film was screened for an approving crowd at SXSW. The live shows, where a band helps Sorne tell his stories, are rumored to devolve into sweaty, tribal messes. If you would like to see one soon, here is the schedule below.
