Hailing from the little heard-of Phoenix, Dogbreth seem to carry with them influences from all genres and voices. On “How Long”, there is some heavy metal-meets-Southern Rock guitar sludge, then an element of K Records twee through vocalist Erin Caldwell's sugared pleading, then the song ends up somewhere in between bedroom jangle and basement poppunk. The highlight comes from the vocal melody as it pleads “How long can I love you?”, reflecting on something that we've all been there for.
