Listen: Stag Hare

Jeremy Krinsley

Stag Hare make dreamy textures that expand out into pop songs that, in this post-Merriweather world, are open to a much wider audience of those seeking a little twinkle in their hiss. Stag Hare self-releases his albums (click his linked name above for some purchasing power), and this track is the lead off his latest, which is perhaps entitled Black Medicine Music as a sort of “by hippies for hippies” warning to keep fratty/urban/type A's dizzy from Animal Collective-Unconsciousness from stepping too far into the realm of smoke, mirrors and loops.
