Tokyo’s relatively new dream pop punk collective Baby Fire released their “Water/Indigo” double side to a collection of stellar reviews back in June. Their latest single “Seoul” proves that the band isn’t on their way out anytime soon. The song has a distinct vintage vibe to it, simple instrumentals guiding it into a place where it meshes with the lightweight vocals in, admittedly, a dreamy, ethereal way. This is a great song to play in the background of a hang sesh with your friends, and we totally condone allowing it to play at your next big family event as well. Either way, it’s rife with a nostalgic feeling that we need in the autumn months.
