“We were gonna record vocals, but we never wrote them,” says Cyrus Lubin of Boogie Boarder. They recorded four tracks worth of melodic, surfy pop in Philadelphia at Headroom, but then the band went on hiatus before they had the time to finish it off. Maybe when you download the record, you could write the lyrics? If enough people do that, we will release a free digital mixtape of all of them together, and call it “Imagine You Are Boogie Boarding”. Does that sound fun? (If you actually do this, send the track to ari@imposemagazine.com. But honestly, will you get off your lazy butt? Make me have to follow through on my promise, I dare you.)
You can download the whole thing from BandCamp, and I've embedded the stream.
