Charlz’s musical roots run deep, her father a guitarist and cousin, Brody Dalle (The Distillers) is married to rock god Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), but she’s been making her mark as an artist on her own terms from the age of 12. Since then, she’s gone on to sign a publishing deal with Kobalt, tour with R’n’B superstar Khalid – And has worked with Deadmau5 protege ATLAS.
The result is the new single ‘Amaze Me’ – It’s a prime example of the Nu-Wave of pop, taking huge influence from electronica it’s a sultry track that ticks all the right boxes.
“I believe that anything is possible in life and that there is no limit to the wonder that we can create.” enthuses Charlz. “I am forever looking to see the amazing side of things and this song is really about trying to find that in a relationship.”
