Be Your Own Pet, Built To Spill, Gelli Haha, YHWH Nailgun & more throw down at Boise’s premiere indie fest
Boise, Idaho’s premiere indie rock music festival Treefort returned for another incredible edition, featuring countless amazing sets scattered across several downtown venues. Performers included the reunited Nashville garage punks Be Your Own Pet, who played a fiery afternoon outdoor set for a rowdy crowd, while later, indie legends Built To Spill turned back the clock with a bevy of fan favorites. Of course, the evening was not complete without a wild performance from Canadian art rockers Crack Cloud.
Meanwhile, a number of hyped up-and-comers got a chance to shine as well, including LA shoegazers Casino Hearts, local noise punks Dreams Of Blights, shapeshifting LA indie pop cosmonauts Gelli Haha, Norwegian post-punk act Pom Poko, local hardcore exhibitionists Trauma Kit, and NYC experimental noise rockers YHWH Nailgun.
