British artist Dan Black is revving up to release a new album, and we’ve got the first taste for you today in the exclusive premiere for the lead single “Headphones”. Beginning with a notable and forceful beat, the song sifts into almost a tranquil place – despite the bass – due to the mellifluous sound of Black’s vocals. He utters thoughts most of us think, as we are “locked” in our headphones on the regular.
“Well I literally spent years locked in my headphones making this album, so there’s that!” exclaimed Black. “But also, its about how we all are constant pull of technology, usually away from people. I’m not saying that’s all bad, but these things always come with a cost. I love how intense I was about it, but sad too…!”
