Fucales – “The New Way of Existing”

Norwegian indie band blends alternative & psych rock on striking new single

Norwegian indie band fucales makes a striking return with their new single, “The New Way of Existing,” a genre-defying dive into psychedelia and alternative rock. From the very first note, the track showcases their knack for pushing boundaries, with screeching guitars that quickly evolve into a groove-heavy rhythm and skat-like vocals, creating a frenzied yet hypnotic energy.

“With ‘New Way of Existing’ we try to capture the feeling of paralysis,” the band shared. “With pounding guitars reminiscent of our all time favorites, Fontaines D.C., and a free floating vocal style inspired by Björk, we’re thrown into an intense reality of modern alienation and the search for meaning.”

Despite their youth – members range from just 17 to 21 – fucales have already made a name for themselves as one of Norway’s most dynamic live acts. In “The New Way of Existing,” the band showcase why they’re an absolutely furious, jaw-droppingly unique new act coming out of Norway.
