Nearly a year ago we wrote about Young Governor's 7-inch “Virginia Creeper.”
No joke, but a few spins of the Fucked Up guitarist Ben Cook's solo tracks at our regular DJ sets, and the “Verr-gin-yaaaa” chorus is indelibly charbroiled into our medium rare craniums.
These new tracks are a bit raunchier than that other 7-inch, coming a few steps closer to the unbridled rawness of his daddy band Fucked Up, but more likely to go bareback on a crunchy guitar riff than a few power chords. Frankly, we already know that we'll be humming “English Tim” for the next year or so.
