“Remember Me” is the debut single from a stunning new Los Angeles based artist. Oparu, the musical incarnation of singer/songwriter/actress Dianna St. Hilaire. St. Hilaire is a self-taught musician and song writer from New Mexico who spent her early years touring with her group Versailles. Oparu – which is derived from the Japanese name for opal – came to be in late 2015 as a way for her to speak emotionally through music.
In “Remember Me”, St. Hilaire and Josh Stevens have created a song that speaks to the listener, almost one on one. The lyrics and music are both emotional and haunting, which is exactly what St. Hilaire hopes to accomplish.
“Thank you Impose for premiering my debut song ‘Remember Me’, exclaimed Hilaire. “Oparu is a project of my creative journey and I am humbled to be able to share it with you.”
Keep up with Oparu here.
