Ro Ransom, "Floetry"

Post Author: Andre G

Ro Ransom is enjoying over 22 million streams of his Momentum EP, but he’s not resting on his laurels. Not only is the Harlem artist right back to releasing music with the recently released “Floetry,” he’s showcasing a grittier side of his arsenal. The melodically inclined artist put his double-time lyricism on front street on the thumping trap beat. He takes it back to the street, rapping, “I be in the hood like I got dope on me.” The only hypnotizing lines Ransom is pitching are on the beat, presenting a bounce that he found “crazy.”
Kensei Abbot mans the second half of the song, delivering a verse that Ransom notes is “so much fun.”
“Enjoy yourself a little! Mystery Boy has spoken,” he said over e-mail.
