Talented vocalist Ro Ransom has collaborated with a bevy of names throughout the country, including Jazz Cartier, Khalid, and Dua Lipa, who he co-wrote the the Gold-certified “Let’s Go” with. Now Ransom is looking to “Stop The World” with the latest single from his long-awaited Momentum debut project.
Crooning atop a soundbed of lush synths and dancefloor ready drums, Ransom lets the girl in his mind know just how much she means, longing to “die to be alone with you” and “run away to a better place.” Even as the production transitions from understated, pulsating synths to a mountainous soundscape of thrashing drums, Ransom’s voice still commands the track, showcasing his versatility on the hip-hop/R&B/electronic fusion. Perhaps “Stop The World” is the perfect song to play in the background of today’s looming eclipse with the one who stops time for you.
