Hailing from the great Garden State, trio The Rareflowers have been making waves since announcing their debut, self-titled EP and their signing to Good Eye Records. Featuring brothers Jimmy (guitar, lead vox) and Kane Maraday (bass, vox) and Aaron Gollubier (drums), the band deals in all things delightful power and jangle pop with their own signature twist.
Today, The Rareflowers are premiering the EP’s last single, “Trip into the Sun.” The track finds the group working in a smokier, country twang atmosphere than their previous singles “Shake” and “New Generation,” showcasing a breadth of sound and style on what was already a very promising debut.
“When you don’t act on your word, you really have nothing to say,” Kane shares. “You could carry your thoughts around all day or you could jump up and put them to use.”
