Vadoinmessico's geographically varied sound is as diverse as their members. Based in London, the five-person group hails from France, Mexico, Italy, and Austria. The result is a ramshackle combination of electro-pop, psychedelia, and freak-folk. These disparate influences shine on “Perfect Strangers,” the band's first track following the release of last year's Archaeology Of The Future. “Perfect Strangers” contains what may be the last vestiges of summer; it's bubbly, percussive, and highly danceable.
Vadoinmessico are currently working on their second album. They will be in the states for CMJ and Culture Collide in Los Angeles.
