Eric Prydz, Dom Dolla, Charlotte De Witte & more headline another star-studded New Year’s bash in San Diego
FNGRS CRSSD, the SoCal EDM promotion and tastemaking giant, has unveiled the star-studded lineup of DJs and producers who will be performing at this year’s PROPER NYE/NYD festival on Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 at PETCO Park in downtown San Diego.
Some of the biggest names in EDM will help ring in the new year and set the tone for 2025. That includes Swedish dance music legend Eric Prydz, who will also perform under his techno moniker Cirez D. Meanwhile, the ascending Belgian dark techno queen Charlotte De Witte, fresh off her jawdropping Overdrive set at this year’s Coachella, will make her return to San Diego, along with tech house giants Dom Dolla and John Summit, and melodic house maestro Lane 8.
The undercard continues with Berlin veteran Boys Noize, Bristol’s Eli Brown, Italian heavyweight Enrico Sanguiliano, and a whole host of recent breakout stars like Mau P, Sofia Kourtesis, Le Youth, and more. The festival will also feature full stage takeovers by Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats label as well as Lane 8’s independent label and concert series This Never Happened.
As with pretty much all FNGRS CRSSD events, PROPER promises to be a sonically galvanizing and visually stunning affair; great music, face-melting art and light installations, smooth logistics, and euphoric vibes. PETCO Park has a knack for playing host to great events with fantastic downtown skyline views and sprawling grass to groove upon, and after last year’s amazing ride, this edition of PROPER should be no different.
Alumni presale begins Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 12 p.m. and is available to Weekend Pass purchasers from CRSSD Spring 2024 & Fall 2023 and PROPER NYE 2023-24. Otherwise, CRSSD community pre-sale starts on Wednesday Aug. 21, and the General Public sale begins on Thursday, Aug. 22. You can learn about tickets and other info HERE.
