Art School Girls is Ninjasonik's debut LP, on Chief Records/Green Owl. They say it's 18-odd months in the making but feels like even more (the video shoot for the title track was definitely summer 2008).
But the wait seems kind of irrelevant when you throw not one but three release parties, in a row, and follow it up with an east coast tour with Clipse.
Even more than popping onstage for Spank Rock during last year's Siren Festival or grabbing a set at Rock the Bells, this legitimizes the trio far past their fucking shit up in Brooklyn days. About time, but here's to hoping they save time for keeping the mess local too.
