The alt-pop sensation will help celebrate Minty Boi’s 5th year anniversary with an upcoming mini-tour
Sky Ferreira, the alt pop sensation and one of the most beloved artists in the indie sphere, has announced a mini West Coast tour that will see her perform a handful of dates this summer in celebration of concert promoter Minty Boi’s 5th anniversary.
It’s been almost a decade since the enigmatic musician’s legendary album Night Time My Time dropped, but she’s now gearing up for a handful of tour dates in July, including shows in San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles. Outside of the Minty Boi dates, she’s also set to play shows in Maryland and Delaware.
Ferreira burst onto the scene in the early 2010s with a handful of promising singles before capitalizing on her buzz with the 2013 release of Night Time My Time, which is widely considered to be one of the best albums of the decade. There’s been constant delays in the road to her highly-anticipated follow-up Masochism, although her recent activity suggests that a release date may be in the cards in the not-so-distant future.
Meanwhile, Minty Boi has gained steam over the past few years as an LA-based concert promoter, having expanded their footprint in markets like New York and the Bay Area with shows from artists like 100 gecs, Lightning Bolt, Soul Glo, Ethel Cain, and many more exciting up-and-coming acts.
