Northern Spy Records announced today that its second annual Spy Music Festival will indeed go down about a year after the first annual festival happened. Hooray for self-fulfilling prophecy! The festival includes a wide range of Northern Spy's unique brand of jazz-influenced experimentalism, along with psychedelic acts and Brooklyn experimental stalwarts. Spanning 16 days between June 29 and July 15 and stretching across the city in seven different venues, including a two-week curation of The Stone, in Alphabet City, the Spy Music Festival will provide a series of relaxed club shows during what is usually bat-shit drunk outdoor festival time. Each show is separate entry, no festival pass needed.
