Sunset Rubdown release LP on Jagjaguwar in October

Post Author:

Following Shut Up I Am Dreaming, Spencer Krug and his band of radiantly clothed sidekicks have pulled plenty of fans away from his other projects with Frog Eyes and Wolf Parade to listen to his bedroom kickings turned full band. With the release of Beast Moans, the collaboration between Krug, Dan Bejar and Carey Mercer dubbed Swan Lake, Krug continued to push the bounds of Canada's incestuously collaborative indie community. Random Spirit Lover is Sunset Rubdown's latest full length, slated for an October release. Like Beast Moans, it's on Jagjaguwar, a label that continues to pump out beautiful, strange music. The album will feature many of the songs the band has performed in its supportive tour of Xiu Xiu.

Heads up for a month long tour in support of the album come October.
