New Jersey-Brooklyn punk band Titus Andronicus announced today via Twitter that they'll be going on tour this Spring with good friends of theirs and ours, The So So Glos. This announcement came with a barage of excitable tweets that are rare for TA frontman Patrick Stickles, so it's clear that the news is a thrill for him and—once again—us, too. The tour is reminiscent of a similar string of shows The So So Glos played with Titus in 2009, a tour they aptly called “Bring On the Dudes,” except this time around it's being called the “Bring Back the Dudes Tour.” All around, a great effort.

In conjunction with this announcement, TA have shared a few cool things on their Blogspot and SoundCloud, including an interview with SSG's Alex Levine and this track below that the bands were playing on their 2009 tour. It's a cover of Billy Bragg's “To Have and to Have Not” and it is a perfect example of the broed-out punx comraderie these two bands clearly have.

The dates of the Bring Back the Dudes tour are:
4-28 – Hamden, CT – The Space
4-29 – Cambridge, MA – Middle East Downstairs
4-30 – Montreal, QC – Lambi
5-1 – Ottawa, ON – Mavericks
5-2 – Toronto, ON – Lee's Palace
5-3 – Detroit, MI – Magic Stick

And the great flier above was designed by SSG's drummer/art director Zach Staggers.
