The long-running Boise, ID rock band–pared down to a trio in the last decade–recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of their landmark second record, There’s Nothing Wrong with Love, and hit San Francisco for two sold-out nights at the Fillmore. Opening with “Traces” from 2006’s You in Reverse, the band then played TNWWL from start to finish, thrilling the crowd with favorites like “Car,” “Dystopian Dream Girl,” and “Big Dipper.” The encore’s four songs featured a song a piece from the four records after TNWWL, with the show closing with Ancient Melodies of the Future‘s “Strange,” with Built to Spill joined by tour openers, Sam Coomes and Janet Weiss of Quasi. Check out photos from both sets on night two on September 2028.
