The veteran experimental rockers rolled through Portland in support of their latest album Ignore Grief
The beloved veteran experimental trio Xiu Xiu – comprised of musicians Jamie Stewart, Angela Seo, and David Kendrick – rolled through Portland this past week and delivered a spine-tingling set for fans at Holocene. The band is currently touring in support of their excellent thirteenth album Ignore Grief, which they released in March. The set featured a few tracks off that one, in addition to a wide smattering of tracks off previous albums, as well as covers of New Order’s “Temptation” and Angelo Badalamenti’s “Falling.”
