At the beginning of March – before they trekked down to Austin to entertain at SXSW – Middle Kids played Kansas City’s Tank Room to a pretty stunning and captivated audience. We got to hang out with them in the green room before they took the stage, capturing a little bit of their personality in some portraits as they regaled us with stories from tour.
Apparently their homeland (Sydney, Australia) is void of ice, so the ice they had to drive in to get from Colorado to Missouri was actually terrifying for them. But they made it. And they killed it.
