The 15th edition of the San Francisco music festival kicked off on Friday, August 11th, in Golden Gate Park. The foggiest/coldest edition in recent memory didn’t keep the crowds away, as they packed the entirety of the ground’s Polo Fields to catch headliner Kendrick Lamar. Other highlights included Janelle Monae’s standout set, Interpol playing Turn on the Bright Lights in its entirety, an enthusiastic appearance from DJ Diesel (aka Shaquille O’Neal), and K-pop group aespa.
