This is LA’s Weatherboy. The song is called “A Bright Flame” I think fans of Beulah (remember them?), Arcade Fire or maybe Rocky Horror would be into this. Weatherboy is Icelandic singer Ragnar Rosinkranz and LA surfer boy, John Walqusit. If you like empanadas, John’s your man. He’s got a restaurant with the best in town, Johnny Pacific.
Of the song, songwriter Walquist says, “One of the first songs I wrote. Production vibe feels like a Shrek b-side movie soundtrack mixed with a bit of Zeppelin. We most likely won’t apologize for being goofy.”
