Alt rock veterans Dinosaur Jr. played two nights at the Fillmore in San Francisco on February 16-17. Though bassist Lou Barlow had to bow out due to Covid, singer/guitarist J Mascis still had his six Marshall stacks, so the band soldiered on with a typically insanely loud, career-spanning set, closing with a cover of The Cure’s Just Like Heaven.
