One of the most compelling CMJ 2013 events went down at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Wednesday, October 16th. The showcase featured artists on Down Music and Javotti Media such as Smif-N-Wessun, a reunited Black Moon (performing with a live band, Phony PPL. Buckshot of Black Moon started Duck Down Music, Inc. in 1995), songstress Res, T'nah Apex, Sean Price and the headliner, Talib Kweli. Artists not associated with Duck Down or Javotti also performed such as Children of the Night, Cory Mo, T'nah Apex and CJ Fly of Pro Era.
