Deaf Radio, “Anytime”

Post Author: Meredith Schneider

Athens, Greece has been breeding some stellar music it seems. Rock collective Deaf Radio – comprised of Panos Glinos, Dimitris Sakellariou, Antonis Mantakas, George Diathesopoulos, and Honorary Member Vassilis Petris – is preparing to release the debut LP they recorded in May of this year. We’ve got the premiere of their video for “Anytime” right here.

One might assume this will be another run-of-the-mill, slow motion video of a scantily clad woman running through a field with the first scene. And then several scenes pan into view, some shots quite disturbing actually, and you start to feel like the video might hold a tense aspect to it. Sure, you’ve got a couple staring at each other. And then you see them sprawled on the ground.

Are they dead?

Every shot in this video can be seen as morbid in some way, and almost every scene is followed by a shot of a body laying, eyes wide open, lifeless.

See what’s up for yourself and let us know what you think of this intense video.

Alarm will be out this winter. Keep up with the guys here.
