TDE’s SiR is back with another visual from his upcoming November project, and he’s showing off his versatility. After performing more of a rap-rhyme fusion on his previous “Something Foreign” track with Schoolboy Q, his full vocal chops are on display on “Summer In November.” His raspy vocals shine over the ’70s-funk influenced track, as he sings about a “sahara in the snow” romance that brings fiery passion to his cold days.
“Summer In November” is matched with a Karena Evans-crafted video which juxtaposes the wintry wilderness with the heat of intimacy between SiR and his love. The clever video showcases a split-screen which highlights the wide spectrum of intimacy in relationships. Like “Something Foreign” his visual is once again drowned in color, with a depiction of the white, snowy woods next to a deep red visual representing the physical manifestation of his love.
SiR’s November album releases Friday, January 19th.
