Jennifer Baron is the face behind, and in front of, the music of The Garment District’s newest video, for their tune “Meeting of the Dark Sky Association”. She rides automated walkways at an airport, then the camera trails her gaze as she boards an airplane. Later we see the multi-instrumentalist playing various keyboards. Her face is always obscured, her vision doubled, and her gaze expansive and kaleidoscopic.
This video–created by Johnny Arlett with additional footage by Greg Langel and Jennifer Baron–does the amazingly creative “Meeting of the Dark Sky Association” justice, bringing incredible art and vision to The Garment District’s listeners. It’s beautiful and intriguing, just like the band itself.
