With the upcoming release of their newest album since 2009's It's Blitz!, Yeah Yeah Yeahs debuted a video for the album's single "Sacrilege" today. The video features the model/philanthropist Lily Cole as something of the town bicycle and on whom the townspeople inevitably take revenge. The video is shot in reverse, beginning with a fiery pit and ending with a white wedding, and it's an intense affair that appears to be critiquing the concepts of sexual morality and deviance.
The band is now on tour and their latest album, Mosquito, releases on 4/16 through Interscope. It was announced today that the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will join The Flaming Lips on May 17, the first night of The Great GoogaMooga, a festival that celebrates—what else?—food and bands.
