Sometimes Lantern goes real snotty and gnarly, GG Allin or Blag Dahlia possessing a tune's arc (see “I Don't Know”). But they also open their latest collection with the title track “Stranger I Come. Stranger I Leave.” which follows the line of reasoning extrapolated by the likes of Peaking Lights and Russian Tsarlag and the like, that you can make fried American dub music out of broken shards of psychedelia and home baked recordings.
