Copenhagen’s rock four piece Communions – comprised of Martin and Mads Rehof, Deurs Formann, and Frederik Lind Köppen – has done us all a huge service and is planning their first release, a 7″ via Fat Possum Records. What’s more? We’ve got the aa-side song “Eternity” for you to enjoy before its release.
Although this song is rock at its core, there are absolutely aspects of it that layer into some surf pop, then back to a strictly pop sound space. It’s actually a really great track to enjoy as summer turns to autumn, as it holds a slight bittersweet tone that can easily be associated with seasonal changes. Clarity can be found in vocals that lend themselves to 90’s punk rock, and we’re big fans.
