Ed's Note: Chicago's Jimmy Whispers has been called the city's greatest home grown enigma. With such accolades in his back pocket, the former member of Light Pollution is heading out on an East Coast tour, hopping on shows with R. Stevie Moore and Adventure. I was put on this earth to sing love songs. I'm about to leave my room and tour the East Coast. My car just broke down, I might lose my day job, and I am ready to do this! I vow to entertain. I will crowd surf and pour beer all over myself, and get couples to slow dance together every night! I hear a heartbeat crying through out this burnt out fucked up universe and I was put on this earth to sing love songs.
