Everyone’s favorite hardcore band Hoax released a new single today, “Caged,” two minutes of unrelenting aggression. Anthemic and never shrill, “Caged” carefully shapes its own brutality in bass heavy distortion–melodic hardcore at its 2013 finest. The 7” is out now via Spanish label La Vida Es Un Mus Discos and arrives just before the band leaves for an extensive European tour (dates after the stream.) Those who act fast can grab a limited edition green pressing—I expect it’ll sell out before I finish writing this.
