The other day I saw a bunch of neon-clad hipsters in the park. No biggie, I thought. This is, after all, Brooklyn. Then I got closer, and saw the hackie sack. Then I heard the boom box. “You Enjoy Myself,” the most anthemic of all Phish songs, was blasting. This would've been funny, but this is post-irony, people. They were dead serious. What I'm trying to say is, forget Hell's Angels beat downs to the death or crazy punk idols rolling around in glass. Time to settle for a bunch of suburban kids with dreads stuffed under their lacrosse hats sneaking magic mushrooms into a stadium.

Police said Monday they confiscated about $1.2 million in illegal drugs and more than $68,000 in cash from concertgoers. Authorities also arrested 194 Phish fans during the three-night celebration of the band's return to the stage after a nearly five-year absence.
