Teflon Sega, “Beretta Lake”

Zack O'Brien

Teflon Sega made a splash earlier this year with his debut single, “Sinner”, a slowed-down piece of atmospheric, moody electronic R&B.

Co-produced by Waju and Fallen, “Beretta Lake” is Teflon Sega’s first outing since his debut. The track reprises the ethereal production of “Sinner” — a minimal drumbeat is accompanied by dreamy synths and Teflon’s haunting falsetto. This time, though, a short but impassioned guest verse by Brooklyn-based rapper SAINt JHN helps to drive home the song’s message of desperation and ground the track in this world.
