On Wednesday, March 13th, Charli XCX, Disclosure, and Ryan Hemsworth played the Gorilla Vs. Bear and Yours Tru.ly showcase at Hype Hotel. On the same night, Brainfeeder presented a showcase with performances by Captain Murphy (Flying Lotus' rapping alter ego that borrows the name of a Sealab 2021 character), Earl Sweatshirt, The Gaslamp Killer, The Underachievers, Azizi Gibson, and Peabody performed at Empire Automotive in Austin, TX for SXSW.
